32513 Sgt.D.Gallaher
David Gallaher was born on the 30th of October 1873 Ramelton, Ireland. His parents were James Henry and Maria Hardy McClosekie, James was born in 1812-1894. Maria was born in 1844-1887. David's brothers Douglas and Harry who were enlisted in the Australian imperial forces like David they died in action. A fourth brother was wounded in the region of the heart, a fifth brother served for overseas. Gallaher was a All Black he was even the captain, in 1922 the Auckland Rugby Union, decided to remember him forever, by awarding to it's champion club team the Gallaher shield.
